STEP 1 - NOMINATION BY YOUR HOME UNIVERSITY - Essential terms

• Your home institution is in Erasmus partnership with the University of Basilicata;
• you have been selected by your home university acquiring the status of Erasmus student;
• the International Office of your University informed the equivalent Office at the University of Basilicata about your status, your personal data and the dates in which you are going to spend your Erasmus period. (It is essential that you should first contact the International Office or the responsible Exchange Program Coordinator of your home university).

STEP 2 - APPLICATION ON-LINE
To be enrolled at the University of Basilicata, you should:

• fill in the on-line application form available on http://unibas.llpmanager.it/incoming/ meeting the following deadlines:

2nd July - first semester of a full academic year

30th October - second semester

• print all the forms generated by the system on-line (the application form and the learning agreement;
• sign them whereas required;
• submit  the Learning Agreement to the persons in charge at your University for the acceptance (Faculty/Departmental and Institutional Coordinators or, if so, the Head of the International Relations or Erasmus Office) and ask them to date and stamp with the official stamp of the University;

• ask for the official Transcript of Records to the competent office at your University, in accordance with the principles of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System – ECTS;

• send all the above mentioned documents,  firstly by fax,  for the formal acceptance at this University and approval of your study programme.

Please note that the application form contains a  self-certification of the taken exams useful  to provide information about the course units/modules you  have already completed and the correspondent results.
The Erasmus Faculty/Departmental and Institutional Coordinators are the responsible for accepting Erasmus students at this University. They will consider your application and notify you as to whether you have been accepted to study at the University of Basilicata. Their decision will be based on your academic curriculum and your level of Italian or, at least, of English competence.
For information about the courses offered by this University, please refer to the web sites of our Faculty or to the Faculty Coordinators or to the Responsible of the mobility programme or to the Institutional Coordinator.

Students may refer to the International Relations Office of both the Universities for information about the application procedures.

STEP 3 - CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE
A confirmation of acceptance at this University will be sent to the International Office of your Institution. Please, have in your mind that if you miss the deadlines, or your application is imperfect, we cannot enrol at this University.
