I graduated in Chemistry in 2000 and in 2004 I got the PhD degree at the University of Rome Sapienza under the supervision of Prof.G.Balducci in the research field of high temeprature materials chemistry. The research results obtained during my PhD internship were published in a series of 14 papers. After my PhD I had several important post-doc experiences in Italy and abroad in research groups focused on materials science.

(1) in 2004 I worked in the Electrochemistry and Nanotechnology for Advanced Materials group led by B.Scrosati, University of Roma Sapienza.
(2) In 2005 I was academic visitor at the Material Modelling Laboratory (MML) led by D.G.Pettifor, Oxford University (UK).
(3) In 2005-2006 I worked in G.Cerri (Un.Roma Tre) research group by coordinating a small research team in the Solar Energy Facility at the departiment of Chemistry Un.Rome Sapienza.
(4) In 2007-2008 I worked as post-doc in the High Temperature Physical Chemistry Group (Coordinator: G.Gigli) at the Un. of Roma Sapienza.
(5) In 2009 I was post-doc fellow in the Nanostructured materials group (Aristotelis University of Thessaloniki-Greece) led by Dr.K.Aifantis.
(6) From 2009 to 2011 I worked as a joint post-doc in B.Scrosati group (Un.Roma Sapienza) and in P.G.Bruce group (Un.St.Andrews, UK) to study nanomaterials for lithium-ion batteries.
(7) From december 2011 I am permanent researcher at the Department of Chemistry, University of Basilicata. My research interests focus on new materials for advanced energy applications.
(8) From the a.y. 2011/2012 I am Assistant Professor of Informatics for Chemistry. I have been also teaching Advanced Physical Chemistry Part A (a.y. 2013/2014 and 2014/2015) and Materials Physical Chemistry (a.y. 2015/2016 and followings).
(9) In december 2014 I achieved the National Abilitation to apply for Associate Professor position in Physical Chemistry (Chim/02)
(10) In April 2017 I achieved the
National Abilitation to apply for Full Professor position in Physical Chemistry (Chim/02)
